The Town of Pound Ridge is located in Westchester County, NY, on the eastern border near Connecticut.

Please join us our for first annual Pound Ridge Go Green Day on Saturday, April 26th, 2014, at the Pound Ridge Elementary School from 11am to 3pm! Become a growing group of Pound Ridge residents interested in promoting sustainable living to protect our future.  Residents of all ages can learn how to take action and make a difference in their community. Learn about the Highlights of the Day.

Pound Ridge is a unique place that is facing environmental challenges.  Our goal for the day is to bring together various ecological messages from our town boards/commissions, local organizations, and local businesses to educate residents on making environmentally responsible choices.

In celebration of the 44th Earth Day on April 22nd, we will educate our community about all things “green” such as composting, organic gardening, recycling, energy efficiency, water conservation and protection, environmental protection, reducing our carbon footprint, healthy lifestyles, and more.

This will be a festive, family-friendly, educational, and interactive event involving many facets of our community, all in the spirit of creating awareness on how the residents can help preserve and protect our environment.  Spread the word!
