The City of Middletown, In partnership with The Business Improvement District, has created a standing tradition with Middletown’s Annual Tree Lighting Parade and Ceremony the day after Thanksgiving.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Our Parade will start on North Street, head to West Main Street and draws to conclusion at Festival Square for ceremony involving a special appearance from Santa to assist in lighting the tree.
This year’s festivities will take place Friday, November 23rd. Live Entertainment will take place at Run 4 Downtown Park on North Street, and Festival Square on West Main Street. Following the festivities, a free showing of It’s a Wonderful Life will take place at the Paramount Theatre of Middletown at 7:45 PM.
Plus The Middletown Recreation & Parks Department will have their Letter's To the North Pole Mailboxes in place at Festival Square & The Paramount Lobby! Be sure to bring your letter to Santa with you and drop it in one of the "Merry Mailboxes" (Don't forget a self-addressed envelope with postage enclosed with your letter to ensure safe delivery back.)
