Pick-Your-Own Strawberries at Greig Farm

Bring your friends and family together to spend an afternoon picking strawberries on our Hudson Valley farm. There’s nothing better than a fresh strawberry, still warm from the June sun! While you visit our farm in Red Hook, NY, stop by our farm market to feed our family of pygmy goats!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately.

How to Pick Strawberries

Strawberries grow low to the ground, so you’ll have to crouch down to pick them. Ripe strawberries are often too heavy for the plants to hold, so the best berries are often resting on the ground. Lift up the leaves of the plant to find these berries hidden beneath. To pick a strawberry, simply pinch the stem where it meets the berry, and lightly pull.

Price

There is no entry fee. You only pay for what you pick, by the pound. Pick-your-own strawberries are $4.50/lb.
