Everybody knows that the signing of the Declaration of Independence is the cause for our July 4th celebration. But have you actually read the document?

The community is invited for a free event on Monday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m for a Reading of the Declaration of Independence at Rosendale Theatre. Twenty individuals, including Rosendale Theatre Collective volunteers, staff and members of the Board of Directors — representatives of all our community—will take turns reading the document that changed the world. After the reading The Rosendale Improvement Brass Band and Social Club will play some peace loving and patriotic songs.
