Arm-of-the-Sea Theater fuses visual storytelling with live music in original works of mask and puppet theater. They tour locally through the Tri-State area and perform at their home theater, the Tidewater Center, in Saugerties, NY.
Founded in 1982, the company channels the evocative power of the arts as a force for insight & community uplift. Much of their work explores relations between humans and the life-support networks of this blue-ocean planet.
Arm-of-the-Sea occasionally offers arts workshops with an ecology focus on Wednesday evenings in summer as part of the Waterfront Wednesday performance series.
