The Art Effect (formerly Mill Street Loft and Spark Media Project) is committed to being a catalyst for youth empowerment and community engagement through the arts and media across the Hudson Valley. We foster personal and professional development for youth through sequential, impactful arts and media programs that encourage youth to explore, experience, and excel. From in-school residences to art immersion summer programs; from one day workshops to professional apprentice programs; and from diverse summer programs in the arts to year-round art explorations, we have it all.
Our program develops ideas and master skills in the visual and media arts. Classes are held year around in fall and spring semesters with three-week long summer intensives.
