Come celebrate the Halloween spirit at the JBFC Kids screening of The Boxtrolls in 3D!*
Recommended for ages 9 and up
A fun, action-packed film, The Boxtrolls is the latest from the renowned stop-motion-animation studio LAIKA Entertainment, creators of Coraline and ParaNorman. Set in an old English town called Cheesebridge, a clan of quirky, mischievous creatures called the boxtrolls live below the streets where they have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs. When the town’s boxtroll-catcher, Archibald Snatcher (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley), captures Eggs’ boxtroll guardian, he decides to venture above ground where he meets and teams up with a high spirited girl named Winnifred. Together, they devise a daring plan to save Eggs’ family.
