Lama Tenzin, who lives in Geneva, NY, recently retired from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he taught Buddhist studies for several decades. Exiled from Tibet as a young boy, he became a monk in his new home, India, when he was just 11 years old. In the monastery he learned the art of the sand mandala.
