The Fraser River Discovery Centre, located in New Westminster, presents its next ‘Faces of the Fraser’ speaker series featuring the Invasive Species Council of BC, on Thursday May 12th from 7:00PM – 8:30PM.
‘Faces of the Fraser’ is an informal opportunity for Fraser watershed communities to learn about the role played by the mighty Fraser in our daily lives.
This month, we’re delighted to host Ruby Banwait, Senior Lead of Community Partnerships with the Invasive Species Council of BC. Ruby will be presenting on some of the aquatic invasive species impacting ecosystems along the Fraser River.
This presentation will take place online via Zoom, and low-cost registration options are available.
