Hamlet of Carmel Civic Association- NY

Our organization is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Hamlet of Carmel, NY. We hold non-partisan forums and send out monthly newsletters to provide information on various topics of local interest such as development, schools, taxes, preserving our environment, etc. We also sponsor family-type activities such as our Halloween Parade through the hamlet followed by a free Party with games, crafts and refreshments. Our annual Holiday on the Lake festivities in December include a Chowder Fest, Hayrides with Santa, Children’s Crafts, Chorale Groups, a Parade of Lights, lighting of 75 Christmas Trees on the shores of Lake Gleneida, and a Menorah Lighting during Hanukkah.
