India Children's Day: A Hands-on Celebration of Diwali

Join us at the Masonic Lodge for this special event put together by RHPL, Arts Mid-Hudson and Bard College. It's all about Indian Culture with an emphasis on the ancient festival of lights, Diwali.

This traditional holiday honors the triumph of light over darkness and is a time of family feasting and gift-giving.

All ages will enjoy this special opportunity to experience the culture of India. Write your name in Hindi, get a henna tattoo, play parchisi, learn a traditional dance, tie a sari, taste Jalebi, and more!
