Rocks, Fossils, and Bugs Galore!

She is a geologist and paleontologist with a passion for bugs and she is visiting from London. And Kirsty will be sharing a large part of her collection with Red Hook Public Library.Examine gems, fossils, and bugs collected locally and abroad using magnifying glasses and with an expert by your side. Giant spiders, tiny garnets, a life-size dinosaur skull, and a plethora of fossils that were collected right in Red Hook are included. There will also be activities and films to help youngsters learn about what they are seeing.This free event is a must for science and nature lovers of all ages!
