People Helping Horses Heal People is the mission that guides everything we do. It holds us to the highest standard of care and rehabilitation for our horses and is at the heart of our educational approach and programming. As a sanctuary, we are committed to the life-long well-being of our horses and believe in the healing bond between humans and horses.

Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue is sanctuary to 48 rescued horses. From minis to draft horses, visitors can learn about their stories and how they came to the sanctuary. Sharing their stories of adversity and overcoming trauma, visitors can connect through the animal-human bond. The programs we offer to the public are:

Our Youth Development Program centers around career development and education of the various areas in the equine industry. Bimonthly Sunday meetings with activities, field trips, and hands on work with our horses. Summer Program June-August
