Maple Sugaring: How to Tap a Tree in Your Backyard at The Ashokan Center
Join Ashokan educator and ecologist Del Orloske and Director of Forest Services Ryan Trapani of the Catskill Forest Association for this informative program. You will learn about how to identify and tap maple trees in your backyard or another place you have access to such as your school. We will start indoors and then explore outside. Please wear layers and prepare to be outside in winter weather for a significant portion of the program.
