Roald Dahl Splendiferous Showdown

2016 marks 100 years since the birth of Roald Dahl, author of beloved stories such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and The BFG. In the Splendiferous Showdown, Penguin Young Readers and Story Pirates present a hilarious, fast-paced, and interactive live game show inspired by Roald Dahl, the world’s greatest storyteller. Filled with fun facts, trivia, and challenges that celebrate Dahl’s books, the show culminates in the performance of a brand new, improvised story based on ideas from the audience and the themes, language, and hilarity of Dahl.
Recommended for third through sixth graders, but enjoyable for all ages!

Join Starlight’s Youth Theater for a special program, Seussical, Jr., The Musical! Horton hears a noise coming from a speck of dust on a clover and commits himself to protecting it and the Whos who live on it; meet his friend Jojo, Gertrude McFuzz and others. Through mishaps and adventures, these unique characters finally find what they seek – their places in their world.
