Wildlife in Winter: Deep Freeze
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/27/2016
With shorter days and colder temperatures, many animals move on to more favorable climes. For those who stay, they have two choices: hibernate or adapt.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
We will walk the trails of Five Rivers, paying particular attention to those animals that remain active throughout the winter. We will observe them engaging in their daily routines or watch for signs that they have been active. Binoculars may come in handy if you have them. A limited number of binoculars will be available for loan.
Pre-registration is required for all events.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
