"Winter Crystals" Art Workshop

Join us for "Winter Crystals" Community Workshop! Come explore the wonder and beauty of crystalline forms often found in our winter landscapes – from snowflakes, to ice crystals, to road salt. Have fun working with fine art materials, including watercolor paints and salt, to create crystalline artworks.
Weather permitting we will start with a nature walk down to the creek in search of winter crystals, then we will head back to the studio for art-making. You will be surprised to learn the science behind the crystals' geometric forms, and how they interact in our natural environments. Come dressed for the weather!
