Week 3 - Dutchess Arts Camp: Comics & Comets

Creativity thrives as campers explore their artistic abilities, play games, and make lasting friendships at Dutchess Arts Camp! Enjoy beautiful outdoor spaces, ceramic kilns, a theater, art studios, and other creative spaces!
The theme for Week 3 is Comics & Comets! Discover the magic of art! Explore space and epic storytelling in this cosmic week of camp! Students will create short space comics, paint collabrative glow in the dark galaxy paintings, design their own space ships, and perform epic tales of crazy comets!
Our experienced and friendly counselors and teaching artists support fun, hands-on art-making with various mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics, collage, animation, and performance, based on engaging weekly camp themes. The pieces created at camp will portray your child's individuality, tapping into each camper’s specific interests.
A final showcase each Friday will display all of the campers’ artwork and show off their learned performances to friends and family. Daily schedules include opening and closing circles, structured art instruction, snacks, lunch, and outside play.
Early drop-off available for an additional $25/day (no earlier than 8:15 am)
Late pick-up available for an additional $25/day (no later than 4:45 pm)
